Aidan Rooney joined Prospect Financial Services in 2025, bringing a blend of analytical skill, competitive drive, and disciplined performance shaped by both his academic and athletic background.
Prior to joining Prospect Financial Services, Aidan gained hands-on market experience at Cboe Global Markets, where he interned in the Data Vantage division focusing on data cleaning, dashboard creation, and market-driven analytics. He also worked at GTS (Global Trading Systems) within their Designated Market Making (DMM) group, gaining exposure to liquidity provisions and order flow. These experiences strengthened his technical abilities and deepened his understanding of market structure at both the exchange and trading-firm level.
Aidan graduated from Bates College, where he competed for the men’s cross country and track & field teams. Throughout his collegiate running career, he earned All-Region and All-NESCAC honors and developed the mindset that continues to guide his professional life. Running remains a core part of who he is, and in his free time he enjoys cycling and fishing .
Aidan holds the SIE, Series 63, and Series 7 licenses with LPL Financial.
